TrainRunningStatus.live is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or operated by Indian Railways, IRCTC, CRIS, the National Train Enquiry System (NTES), or any government body. We are not a ticketing agent and we do not sell tickets.

Train names, numbers and station names are used only to identify the services people are searching for. Any trademarks referred to remain the property of their respective owners.

Where the information comes from

Live running positions originate from Indian Railways' train enquiry feed, reached through a third-party data provider. Timetables shown on train pages are built from those responses and stored by us. We do not generate train positions ourselves and we cannot correct the source data.

Accuracy

We work to show this information accurately, but we cannot guarantee it is correct, complete or current. In particular:

• a reported position can be several minutes old, and a train may go unreported between stations;
• delays change during a journey — a train running late can recover time, or lose more;
• platform numbers frequently change at short notice and should always be confirmed at the station;
• timetables, halts and cancellations are revised by the railways, sometimes at short notice.

Do not rely on this site alone where being wrong would be costly — catching a connecting train, a flight, or travelling to a station to receive someone. For those, confirm with Indian Railways directly, at the station, or on the official NTES service. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss arising from reliance on the information here.

If a route, timing or train name on this site looks wrong, please report it on the contact page. Corrections from people who actually travel these routes are the fastest way for us to fix errors, and they are welcome.
