Direct trains between any two stations

Choose a starting station and a destination above to see the trains that run between them on a given day. Each result shows the departure and arrival time, the journey duration and distance, the days of the week the train runs, and the travel classes available — and links through to live running status for that train.

Results are direct trains only: one train that calls at both stations, with no change along the way. They are looked up against the railways’ own data at the moment you search, so a service added or cancelled recently is reflected.

How do I find trains between two stations?
Pick your origin and destination in the boxes above, choose the date you want to travel, and select Find trains. You will get every direct train running that day, with its departure and arrival times, how long the journey takes, the distance, and which classes it carries.
Does this show trains that need a change?
No — the results are direct trains only, meaning a single train that calls at both stations. If nothing is listed it usually means there is no direct service on the date you picked; a different day often has one, because many trains run only on certain days of the week.
Why does a train I know about not appear?
Two common reasons. It may not run on the date you selected — weekly and bi-weekly services are easy to miss. Or your stations may be served by different halts than you expect; large cities often have several stations, and a train calling at one does not call at the others.
Can I check whether one of these trains is running late?
Yes. Every train in the results links to its own page, which shows live running status — current position, delay in minutes, and expected arrival at each remaining stop — alongside the full timetable.
